INSTITCHU CREATIVE DESIGN

THE CLIENT

InStitchu is an Australian retail brand that specialises in custom tailoring for men and women.

THE PROJECT

During my time as the Creative Designer at InStitchu, I created a number of design solutions for a wide range of print and digital projects. These included product launches, social campaigns, visual merchandising, custom illustrations, and light rail advertisement designs. The primary goal was to raise brand awareness and educate potential customers about the benefits of custom-tailored garments.

In the realm of visual merchandising, I curated captivating displays and utilized visual storytelling techniques to optimize the in-store experience for InStitchu customers. Simultaneously, I crafted digital assets, visually appealing banners, and user-friendly interfaces to assist the brand's online presence and facilitate a seamless retail experience. Additionally, I produced custom illustrations that captured the brand's essence and served as powerful storytelling and visual communication tools. I also collaborated closely with the marketing team to design attention-grabbing light rail advertisements that increased brand visibility among a wider audience. Through my contributions at InStitchu, I utilised the power of design to create cohesive brand experiences and elevate the brand's position in the tailored garment industry.

FINAL DESIGN AND RESULT

The consistent development and distribution of the above assets revitalized the InStitchu brand. Before my time with the brand, the primary focus had been on corporate male professionals and groomsmen preparing for their big day. While there I was able to see the company experience significant growth as they opened this market up to women’s tailoring. It was crucial to uphold a brand identity that gracefully acknowledged the initial clientele, while also resonating with and attracting the emerging female audience. The brand's presence and voice was vital as many customers were encountering the brand for the first time. These design elements effectively engaged the online community, retained the existing customers, and introduced the brand to new clients who remain engaged with the brand today.
